passport-ocr.com ("the Service") is operated by Pixel Analytics LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. It is an OCR-as-a-service platform that extracts structured data from passport Machine Readable Zones (MRZ). The Service processes uploaded passport images and returns parsed MRZ fields such as name, nationality, document number, and dates.
The Service is not an identity verification (KYC) service. We do not verify the authenticity of passports, validate identities, or perform any form of identity checks. The Service solely performs optical character recognition on MRZ zones.
You agree to:
The Service provides up to 10 free API requests per day without requiring an account. Free tier access is rate-limited using an anonymous fingerprint derived from your connection metadata. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
API keys are issued after purchasing credits. You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential. Any requests made with your API key are your responsibility. If you believe your key has been compromised, revoke it immediately from your dashboard and generate a new one.
All uploaded images are processed in-memory only. We do not store passport images or OCR results to any persistent storage. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy, or availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.
OCR extraction is inherently imperfect. While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that extracted data will be 100% accurate. You are responsible for verifying extracted data before relying on it for any purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixel Analytics LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, any remaining credits in your account are forfeited.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders of material changes via email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
